19th July 2014 – with 4 days to go till the opening ceremony, influence is pleased to announce that we will be teaming up with Hafsa Kamara, a 22 year old sprinter based in the USA who will be competing at the Glasgow Commonwealth Games for Sierra Leone.
Watch both of our Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and Instagram pages for news, views and updates as Hafsa prepares for and reflects on the Games!
12th October 2014 – we were impressed with Marilyn Okoro’s #Road2Rio campaign and wanted to help if we could. We conducted a full audit on her social media channels, showing where improvements could be made around channel focus, post timing, hashtag and geotagging and much more.
Marilyn was pleased with the results from the audit as the following from her Instagram page suggests!
12th August 2015 – William Sharman had a developing presence on Instagram but had predominantly focussed on Twitter as the main communication channel. We worked with him to highlight the strengths and weaknesses of his social strategy and provided him with a detailed report to guide future communications.

10th January 2016 – Kimberley Murray took the brave move to quit her job and go full-time as a skeleton athlete with British Bobsleigh on the podium pathway for the 2022 Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.
It was a pleasure working with her to show her where she could build her social media presence and how to do it. Kimberley has now had two successful crowd funding campaigns and is learning and progressing, hopefully all the way to the Olympic podium! This is what she said about us on LinkedIn:
